Go me…Go me…!
Oh what’s that over there?
HOLY SHIT! It’s the side bar!! I don’t know why I didn’t do this before. I checked the individual pages for each post (after deleting posts I didn’t need to!) and found the one with the knucks tutorial was the only one that didn’t have a side bar on its unique page. SO I found a bunch of extra tags and deleted them and BAM…fixed. Yesss.
I had to disable comments on all the older posts to stop that extreme flow of spam comments and trackbacks. (I’m talking 100+ a day!) I need some spam protection on here, I don’t have the wordpress key to activate my akismet plug in nor do I know how to get it. Any suggestions?
So it’s about that time to start knitting holiday gifts. I like the knuck pattern a lot so I’ll be knitting some of those, and converting them to gloves for my mom (who I was supposed to make gloves for last year!) and of course I will start stash busting with the ever faithful scarf. I think I will finally dye my handspun for one of those!
School reimbursment checks come in in just two weeks! Expect quite the yarn haul from me!
I’m contemplating frogging my jaywalkers and starting again. I might step up the needles, too. I’m halfway through another dishcloth, so that’ll be done today probably. I’m starting to get the urge to knit again. I think the sock knitting put me off. All I was knitting was socks and I got bored.
Crafter’s Choice bookclub is doing a “buy now pay nothing until March 2007″ deal right now. I think I’ll jump all over that for holiday gifts for my crafty friends! If you’re not a member, I’d be happy to reccommend you (gets me a free book!) and you can take advantage of the holiday deal. I love Crafter’s Choice. Actually I love book clubs in general. I really just like to shop. A lot.
And because I hate to post without pictures:

Life has been kicking my ass. It’s been rough at home…lot of fighting, school stress, kid stress, MONEY STRESS. I’m so exhausted.
I’m having a lot of days that it takes great effort to just walk another step and not lay down and resume fetal position. My trip home to Quincy made me realize how much I miss everyone there. Of course I love the huge amount of friends I’ve made here, but there’s something theraputic about being around people you’ve known for 10-20 years. I need to go back more often, I like the getaway. I’m sorry to whine at all of you like this is a livejournal or something. I promise to resume to my usual sarcastic self on the next post. If you’re still reading, thanks!
I leave you with a link to the slideshow from my Athena’s Adult Home Novelty party. Pretty humorous. (Opens in a new window)
